Your kindergartner should recognize a circle, square, triangle, diamond, oval, and rectangle. We have been finding these shapes in our environment. Ask them to find some for you!
Writing our name:
Kindergartners have been working with Mrs. Mallard to learn how to write his/her name correctly. Each child should be writing his/her name independently by this time of year. Text Box: Colors:
We use our crayons to listen and follow directions when completing our papers. Color games are great to play at home.
Plant Parts:
Can you name the parts of a plant? We are learning about plant parts and how they help the plant as well as examining a real sunflower!
You are important to your child’s education. Please review the above skills with him/her on a daily basis. Text Box: Gym and Boost up: We have gym class on Thursdays and Fridays. We have Boost up on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please make sure your child is wearing his/her tennis shoes on these days (no dresses, please).
