Math Concepts:      We continue to work on shapes, please review these with your child at home!  Kindergartners have also been learning position words such as in, out, above, below, top, middle, bottom, left, and right.  We have also been sorting by colors, shapes, size, and kind.  Patterning is another skill we work on daily.  These are excellent concepts to review at home! Text Box: Fire Safety:      October is fire safety month.  It is important for your child to know where to go incase of a fire.  Please take time to discuss this with your child as I will ask them where they are to go incase of a fire.   Halloween:      We will have our Halloween Party on Monday, October 31.  Students should BRING their costume to school.  Please make sure your child can put his/her own costume on.  It is great if they can slip it over their clothes.  We will have an all school  costume parade at 2:10.
